What do you enjoy doing?
Whoever you are, you will have something to offer Cherish.  Individuals, small groups, schools and businesses can all bring improvement to the lives of children and families who are in need.  Would you enjoy doing a special show, a sponsored sky dive or have a team-building activity – to raise money for us or give practical help to one of our projects?  The ideas are up to you, let us know what you’d like to do!

Buy beautiful jewellery from Uganda!

Our partners at Agape Outreach in Uganda have started a craft project to help raise funds for the Agape Primary school.  Jewellery may be available for you to sell on to friends or groups.  Please contact us if you would like to buy or sell some.

Where the money goes
Trustees are not paid for their work for Cherish Fund.

What things cost:
Uganda
– Sponsoring a child = £10 a month

Bulgaria
– Feeding a child for a month in a
   soup kitchen = £10
– A pair of shoes = £10
– Enrolling one girl on a three month

   hairdressing course = £150

Malawi

- School fees per term* = £65-£110

- Boarding fees per term* = £160

- Uniform for a year = £50

- Blanket = £5

- Mosquito net = £3

- Fertiliser for crops (per bag) = £30

*(example of secondary school fees, which vary between different schools)
