The Cherish Fund is a UK-based registered charity which has the provision of education for African children and young people as its’ primary objective.
The Cherish trustees are fully committed to seeing this project to completion by seeing the schools full to capacity, efficiently run and 350 under-privileged children receiving a first class education.
Trustee Terry Young was responsible with Ed Ravenhall for raising £53,000 for the Spring of Life Schools in 2010/2011
Most of the children at the Spring of Life Schools are unable to pay any school fees, because their families have little income, and they often have many mouths to feed.
Hello, we’re a small charity with a big vision…
For over two decades we have been working to support needy people, and increasingly our focus has been on the continent of Africa.
Our main project from 2013 has been to support schools in Sierra Leone which are providing some of the poorest children with a Christian-based education.
The school is primarily run on Christian principles but children of all faiths are allowed to attend the school.
